Nomura Interview: Western Release & the New Title?
A new interview with Nomura from Famitsu has been published. The Japanese blog FF-Reunion has posted the details of how their may be changes in the KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep title for the Western release. Along with the information for the Western release, Nomura hints about the next KINGDOM HEARTS title, but that doesn’t mean it’s KINGDOM HEARTS III just yet.
We wanted to know about the next game.
Nomura: First we have to release Kingdom hearts Birth by Sleep in the West. There are plans about making a critical mode, along with adjusting the bosses to a stronger level, because they are a bit weak. Along with those changes, Megaflare will also be adjusted due to it being too strong.
If your changing some content in the Western version, does that mean we will see a Final Mix sometime?
Nomura: We are not sure yet. We have to see where it takes us and how much change there would be in the Western version that will be released. We would like to get a “KINGDOM HEARTS” title out at least once a year, instead of waiting so long.
In two years it will be the 10th anniversary for the series. What about KINGDOM HEARTS III?
Nomura: That’s a secret. There is still a game to come out that is a mystery, but it will connect the series.
Does that mean the Series will be over after the third title from the series?
Nomura: The story for Kingdom Hearts is about Sora, but also one other person. The series is expanding and is also centering on this other person.
The series is currently expanding!?
Nomura: I can’t say anymore than that. (Laughs)

i REALLY think the other person (or people)are ven, terra and aqua. i mean, the series are currently expanding… bbs is a new game… aqua is stuck on the realm of darkness… damn it where is kh 3?? =D
i don’t think it will be about roxas, it could being about aqua in the r.o.d terranaught or ventus’s heart, or maybe riku since he is important, but there is ansem, mickey, xion axel and kairi aswell.
