KH-Recharged was launched on January 2010. The website first appeared online around February 2005 and was known as Chaotic-Gaming. Chaotic-Gaming was a small fan-based website that featured over 50+ pages of content that was written straight from the series. Chaotic-Gaming offered it’s own special content, among the 24/7 updates that were reported from the anticipating release of Kingdom Hearts II and later Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+.

Chaotic-Gaming was a fan-based website that was fully ran and organized by Mike (CGNET). When Chaotic-Gaming was released in 2005, Mike was also contributing at KHN (KH-Network) as one of the reporters. Later, Mike become a full reporter at KH Network along with Tomogirl, where he decided to let Chaotic-Gaming die down in order to continue his work at KHN. Chaotic-Gaming was fully closed in summer of 2007. The website was never forgotten as content was donated to another Kingdom Hearts fan-based website “Kingdom Hearts Excursion.”

In January 2010, Chaotic-Gaming was fully brought back, establishing itself as a fan based website, which would provide media, updates, 400 hours worth of radio play and so much more from the Kingdom Hearts series.

As Chaotic-Gaming re-opened, Mike returned as the webmaster, while continuing reporting at (KH-Vids.net). The Chaotic-Gaming team had expanded with three staff members (Llave, Chaser37 & DJ Firewolf), each sharing their unique features in a newly designed fan based website.

In July 2010, Chaotic-Gaming was renamed to KH-Recharged. Chaotic-Gaming wasn’t doing well, due to it’s lack of creativity for a titled Kingdom Hearts fan-based website. The website was renamed to KH-Recharged to satisfy it’s fans and bring back it’s own unique feature to the Kingdom Herats series.

Late summer 2010, KH-Recharged was the first fan-based website to have voice actor “Quinton Flynn” (who voiced as Axel/Lea in the Kingdom Hearts series) take part in a commercial/promo. The video was an advertisement for the site, but also in celebration of the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep release date in North America, which was available on September 7th 2010. Additional interviews with the cast such as Phil Snyder was also presented by KH-Recharged in 2011.
