One stormy night, a terrible darkness invaded the Destiny Islands, transporting Sora to another world far away from his friends. There he met Donald and Goofy who told him of a mysterious threat on many worlds. The three of them set off on a journey to find their missing king and Sora’s friends. Their adventure led them to meet new people, overcome great ordeals, and finally to reunite with the ones they had been searching for. But, in order for them to save the worlds, a special door would have to be locked, once again separating Sora, Donald, and Goofy from their friends. Once the door was closed, they would never see each other again…Sensing Sora’s hesitation, the King said: “Don’t worry. There will always be a door to the light.” Thus the three heroes departed on yet another journey…

TIME PASSES QUICKLY
In their search for the door to the light, Sora, Donald, and Goofy meet many new people and reunite with old friends. But theirs is a perilous path, fraught with enemies that attack them relentlessly. Heartless, Nobodies, and Organization XIII…Each group has its own agenda. What will remain for Sora and his friends after they’ve all had their say?

KINGDOM HEARTS: II Final Mix+ includes new additions from the previous version “KINGDOM HEARTS II”, which was released in Japan over a year before Final Mix. This Final Mix version is exclusive to Japan ONLY, which features newly added content from it’s previous title. Although new additions are added to Final Mix, it shouldn’t be confused as a new game. It’s almost as the title has been enhanced with some new content.

CHARACTERS

Sora
Sora has been asleep for a year under Namine’s care while the chains of his memory have been repaired after the events of Chain of Memories.

Once he finally awakens he sets out on a new journey to find Riku and King Mickey.

During his time asleep he has grown several inches taller.

His personality is friendly and cheerful with no change in his disposition from Kingdom Hearts 1.

So continues in another journey where he’s still searching for Riku and Kairi.

He hopes to fulfill his promise that he made to Kairi.

The hero of this story. Chosen by the Keyblade, this 15-year-old is on a journey to reunite with his friends. His best friend Riku has gone missing, while Kairi has been left behind in their hoomelad of Destiny Islands. He has a cheerful disposition, and while a little naive, his sense of justice is extraordinary.

Donald Duck
Donald Duck returns upon waking up from the pod located in the old mansion of Twilight Town that Namine placed him into, along with Sora and Goofy in order to obtain their old memories.

Donald Duck, the magician continues his journey.

Along the way, Donald, Sora and Goofy face trouble upon entering different worlds.

Donald once again plays as one of the party member’s as the next epic journey unfolds.

Will Donald and Goofy reunite with King Mickey or will their journey comes to an end with them not accomplishing their goals?

Disney Castle’s Royal Court Magician. Donald embarks on a journey with Sora and Goofy to search for their missing king. Always impatient, Donald is never at a loss with an opinion.

Goofy
Goofy returns upon waking up from the pod located in the old mansion of Twilight Town that Namine placed him into, along with Sora and Donald in order to obtain their old memories.

Goofy, the royal knight continues his journey.

Along the way, Goofy, Sora and Donald face trouble upon entering different worlds.

Goofy once again plays as one of the party member’s as the next epic journey unfolds.

Will Goofy and Donald reunite with King Mickey or will their journey comes to an end with them not accomplishing their goals?

Captain of the Royal Knights at Disney Castle, Goofy has set out with Sora and Donald. He is an eternal optimist, wo takes life in stride. Although he’s a bit clumsy, he still notices things tat others miss, and his intuition is surprisingly accurate.

King Mickey
Mickey who is one of the first Disney cartoons to debut, returns in the KINGDOM HEARTS series as the main character.

Mickey, who is known as “King Mickey” in the series continues his journey and helps out Sora on his long awaited journey.

The king first met up with Sora in Twilight Town, once he was awakened from the pod that Namine put him into in order to obtain his memories.

It’s clear that the king has a bigger role in KINGDOM HEARTS II, where he’s involved with his companions/friends.

The King of Disney Castle. King Mickey was one of the first to recognize the mysterious threat. Left behind in the reals of darkness with Riku, he continues his investigation apart from Sora and friends.

Roxas
Roxas is a new character that appears in KINGDOM HEARTS II.

He has three friends known as Olette, Hayner, and Pence, who occasionally hang out in the “Usual Spot”, located in the alley of their town.

Roxas was first introduced in Twilight Town, which is a little city/town over-looked by the clock tower above.

This characters appears to be confused about who he really is.

Although Roxas is unsure of his identidy, he later comes across to find out that he’s a nobody along with Namine.

A boy who lives in Twilight Town, where our story begins. He and his friends Hayner, Pence, and Olete are enjoying what’s left of their summer vacation, but mysterious events unfolding around them are making Roxas anxious.
